Hey everyone! I thought I'd make a post about the whole of my crazy life along with some tips about nursing school. Most of the nursing blogs that I have found are from current nurses rather than students, and a majority of the help is on YouTube. I also gathered inspiration from http://nursemimiii.blogspot.com/, she goes to my school and gives some great help! I hope to give some great help, and I hope you all can gather some advice from my actions or mistakes (yikes!) Overall I'm excited- woo!

Nursing school is a whirlwind, I think it's something that everyone can agree on. Something that I've learned throughout being over a full year of nursing school, is that every course offers very different things. It's up to you to find what works for you and to add in what each course offers. There's no possible way pass through nursing school with one specific study method that is special to you and never change. Nursing School So Far...

I personally go to school year round and have been going since January of 2017, but my school currently has 8-week sessions for classes, and two 8-week sessions a semester. Needless to say, things go by pretty quickly. I am currently in the first-floor study room thinking back on everything I've taken so far. Some of my classes have been online, while some have been on campus in 4-hour chunks. (This might be something to consider if you are starting to apply to nursing schools - pay attention to the small details, they might bug you later more than you think). The entire experience has been quick, manageable, and somewhat insane. Although its all of those things, it does take a while to get used to the pattern, and if you aren't prepared it can whiplash you.
